The universe of Eos is split into three major regions: the Astral Sea, the Inner Planes, and the Afterlife.

The Astral Sea, also known as the Astral Plane, is the space that contains the planes. The Abyss leaks into the Astral Sea from a corrupted universe, and is the home of the Demons.

The Inner Planes consist of the Material Plane, the Feywild and the Shadowfell. The Material Plane is the home of the mortal races and lies at the centre of the Astral Sea. The Feywild is the home of the Fey and houses the universe’s excess chaos. The Shadowfell is the home of the Shadar-Kai, and houses the universe’s excess stagnation.

The Afterlife consists of Purgatory, the Nine Hells and Elysium. When a mortal dies, their soul leaves the body and enters Purgatory. Here, it is judged by an unknown cosmic force and sent to either the Nine Hells or Elysium. The Nine Hells is the home of the Devils and serves as the final resting place for damned souls. Elysium is the home of the Angels and serves as the final resting place for hallowed souls.
